We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the bright and curious minds from Cedar Secondary Girls’ School to our space here in Yogyakarta. The Cedarian girls didn’t just come to observe; they came with genuine curiosity about our community and how we’ve built Jogja Coding House into a space that empowers young people to grow through technology. We shared our journey of creating Jogja Coding House—from our founding in 2022 under PT Kode Kolektif Indonesia to becoming a thriving community where developers across Yogyakarta connect, collaborate, and grow together. The girls were particularly interested in how we’ve fostered an environment where junior and senior developers work side by side, sharing knowledge and supporting each other’s growth.
